eFootball Tools (“we”, “us”) is a free, fan-made companion tool for the eFootball game, available at efootball.club (the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service and how we use it. eFootball Tools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Konami Digital Entertainment.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo from Google via Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your Google password.
Content you upload. Screenshots of player and manager cards that you choose to import, used to extract stats, skills, and playing styles.
Data you create. Player, manager, and squad records built from your imports, plus any details you edit yourself.
Party feature data. If you create or join a Party room, we temporarily store the room code, member list, chat messages, and spin results so everyone in the room sees the same live state. Party rooms and their chat are automatically deleted after about an hour of inactivity.
Usage analytics. We use Firebase Analytics (part of Google Analytics) to record which pages are visited, to understand how the product is used.
How we use your information
To operate the Service — storing your cards and squads, and keeping your Party room in sync. To extract stats and skills from card screenshots, which requires sending the image to OpenAI’s API for analysis (see below). To understand overall usage patterns from aggregated analytics — not to build individual profiles for advertising. We don’t run ads and we don’t sell personal information.
Third-party services
OpenAI — screenshots you import are sent to OpenAI’s API to extract player and manager stats. OpenAI’s handling of this data is governed by OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.
Data retention & deletion
Player, manager, and squad records are kept until you delete them in the app, or until you ask us to delete your account. Party rooms and their chat are automatically deleted after roughly an hour of inactivity. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at contact@efootball.club.
Data security
We use industry-standard measures — HTTPS in transit and Google Cloud’s access controls — to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
eFootball Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the date above whenever we do.
